Lift Operator (Full-Time/ Part-Time) Job at Mt. Rose Development Company
POSITION SUMMARY
The Lift Operator maintains orderly passenger traffic, advises and assists guest as needed, maintains a responsible surveillance of the particular lift station, and overall, assumes responsibility of the lift for the assigned shift.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
o Must be at least 18 years of age
o Excellent English Communication skills
o Ability to work independently and in a professional manner
o Ability to observe and apply all applicable safety standards
o Excellent customer service and organizational skills
o Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks.
o Demonstrates time management skills.
o Using logic and reasoning to offer solutions to problems.
o Teaches others new processes and procedures.
o Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and proved snow removal as needed

EXTERNAL: Resort guests
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
o To provide, at all times, superior guest service
o The set up and control of a lift line maze access, including ticket verification.
o Prevention of fraudulent lift access.
o Knowledge of & abiding to company policy of dealing with fraudulent tickets & passes
o Provide safe and efficient operating control over the lift at all times
o The loading and unloading of guests
o Snow removal
o The preparation and upkeep of the load and unload zones.
o Maintain accurate written daily reports
o In addition to the uniform you are issued, you will be required to provide: Gloves or mittens, Eyewear (goggles/sunglasses), Thermal wear, Black ski/snow pants.
