The responsibility of the Lift Truck Driver position is to operate a powered industrial lift truck as part of warehouse and distribution operations. Lift truck drivers are responsible for several areas within the distribution center (DC) including receiving, shipping, order picking, inventory, and storage of product.

The Rate of Pay for this role is $21.00 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Responsibilities:

• Unload inbound truck and rail car shipments and safely move product into warehouse to appropriate designated areas.
• Shipping: Load transfer trucks utilizing forklift, ensuring correct weights, proper bracing and placement while utilizing proper SOP loading procedures and diagrams.
• Case Picking / Directed Work: Utilize forklift to select orders for shipments while keeping appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control, food safety, and security are maintained.
• Inventory: Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to maintain accurate records and reports of current stock. Put Away:
• Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate locations as directed by WMS. Maintain record of all products received using WMS.

Qualifications:

• Education (Preferred Level): High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have basic proficiency in reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a quick paced environment, while working well with others and promoting a positive attitude.
• Powered industrial lift truck certification or the ability to obtain lift truck certification.
  
  Lift truck drivers are responsible for several areas within the distribution center (DC).
• Remain in compliance with all applicable safety policies, good manufacturing practices and engineered labor standards while working in the DC facility.
