Position Title: Line Cook

Reports To: Executive Chef

Position summary: The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and plating the various chef-curated menu items. The Line Cook focuses on quality, class, and distinction while meeting the Ranch’s menu specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

· Stocks food items and other necessary supplies to meet the needs of expected customer flow.

· Sets up and stocks kitchen line.

· Prepares food items including dicing, mixing, cooking, grilling, and preparing sauces in accordance with assigned line.

· Follows entre recipes as directed by the Executive Chef.

· Maintains immaculate cleaning routine with equipment and overall workspace ensuring line and storage areas meet or exceed health and safety standards.

· Follows checklist to ensure tasks are complete and done in accordance with procedure.

· Works productively and positively with fellow team members helping in other areas as needed.

· Reports malfunctions or equipment concerns to management as soon as it becomes a concern.

· Reports safety hazards in operations or food service to management as soon as it becomes a concern.

· Performs inventory checks and communicates product needs. Uses FIFO method at all times with all food items.

· Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

· Former restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
