Currently we are seeking full time LPNs to join the Group in our Northtowns and Southtowns locations!

No Holidays and No Weekends

Schedules are Monday through Friday.

Hours are typically 8:00am-4:30pm with some offices that start as early as 6:00am and others may end at 5:00pm.

The LPN position is a very important part of Buffalo Medical Group. Our LPNs are expected to maintain the highest level of customer service and professionalism and we ask that you are always courteous, professional and enthusiastic with all coworkers and patients.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Measure and record vital signs
• Render patient care including but not limited to: nursing assessment of symptomatic patients and appropriate triage; patient education and follow-up.
• Answers phone calls regarding patient questions, pharmacy calls and triage patient calls recommending medical course and care
• Directs patient flow to maximize operational efficiency and meet needs of the patient; to include scheduling of office appointments, procedures and tests, hospital admissions and daily office activity
• Completes paperwork and manages information; fee ticket coding, medical records, reports, incident documentation, communication of information to other Physician offices.
• Obtains and records patient medical histories in EMR
• Collects specimens
• Assists with examinations and procedures

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active New York State License
• Experience with an EMR
