Nationwide Healthcare Services, Inc. of Miami-Dade is seeking qualified per diem/full time LPNs Licensed Practical Nurses and RNs Registered Nurses in the areas of Hialeah, Miami Lakes, Coral Gables, Homestead, Southwest, and Downtown Miami as well as Broward County. IMMEDIATE POSITIONS AVIALABLE.

As a Field Home Care Nurse, you must be a confident and empathetic caregiver, ideally with a background in pediatric or adult home care (training available). You must exhibit excellent judgement, critical thinking, and reasoning skills as well as the adaptability necessary to fulfill the needs of and maintain the boundaries required by each family. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to home health care.

Your specific duties will tend to include the following:

• Assessments
• Medication administration
• Administration of prescribed treatment and therapies
• Care planning
• Communication with other members of the patients' multi-disciplinary team
• Supply management
• Emergency management
• Coordination of care
• Health promotion and teaching
• Training of family members

Job Requirements

Field Home Care Nurse - LPN Licensed Practical Nurse - RN Registered Nurse (Pediatric and Adult Nursing)

Specific requirements for this role include:

• Diploma, Associate' s or Bachelor's degree in nursing from a state accredited LPN or RN program

• Current and unrestricted LPN or RN license to practice in the state of Florida

• Current CPR certification

• Current Continuing Education as required by state

• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

• Pediatric or adult home care background preferred

• Excellent people, verbal and written communication skills

• Current vehicle liability insurance

• Bilingual preferred, not require
