The LPN demonstrates the ability to respond to requests for information in an appropriate way. The LPN works under direct supervision and direction of the practitioner, demonstrates the ability to perform procedures in the office setting, will apply critical thinking skills and consider alternatives in the delivery of patient care, will develop and maintain human relationships and integrate the influence of the human experience of health, illness and /or healing, will apply leadership skills appropriately, will incorporate teaching in the delivery of care and demonstrate competence in health promotion, will manage self and resources effectively and demonstrate the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities for age specific patient populations.
