About the Mission You Will Join:

You will be working with The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to help protect the Nation’s transportation system to ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce. Specifically, you will be supporting TSA Office of Information Technology (OIT) to modernize and optimize a portfolio of applications to ensure the security, integrity, and productivity of TSA and its employees through IT capabilities.

Your Impact to the Mission:
VMD has an exciting opportunity for you to join as a Technical Workforce Collaboration SME. Our customer is about to undertake a major modernization effort to migrate a variety of existing mission support systems/applications into Microsoft cloud, O365, and Power Apps. To achieve integration and customization of mission support systems and applications, this project will consist of several Agile teams to support the design, development, testing, and adaptive maintenance activities using the Agile methodology. Additionally, as the Technical SME you will be supporting strategy and governance efforts to help scale the program as new capabilities are built out.

Experience Needed to Be Successful:

• 5+ years of hands‐on experience with various components within MS Azure Cloud
• Experience leading Office 365 migrations and developing cloud architecture roadmaps.
• Experience migrating on-prem SharePoint to SharePoint Online
• 10 or more years’ experience with modern programming languages, web frameworks, relational databases, automated configuration management, continuous integration/deployment, and continuous monitoring solutions.
• Experience implementing Power Apps and supportive governance
• Proven ability to lead and work within Agile teams
• Background in performing best-practice maintenance and security techniques for mission critical cloud-enabled production systems.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience leading SharePoint Online migration and maturation
• Experience implementing and scaling Power Apps
• DevSecOps background, ability to find value and efficiencies through Automation

• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree
• Can Additional Years of Experience Substitute for Degree? Yes
• Required Certification(s): Microsoft Certifications
• Desired Certification(s): Any additional Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
• Agile Certifications (CSM, SAFe, etc.)
• Minimum Years of Overall Experience: 10
