HOURS/DAYS:

7 am to 3:30 pm Monday thru Thursday and 6 am to 2:30 pm on Friday

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Keep all production machines running
• Perform repairs on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Repair experience on CNC lathes (Okuma and Mazak) preferred
• Hydraulics and PLC (Programmable logic control) experience/troubleshooting
• Perform preventive maintenance on all machinery
• Changing of coolant & oil

DUTIES BREAKDOWN: PLC repair 15%, Mechanical repair 50%, Electrical repair 20% and Hydraulic repair 15%

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Electrical and Hydraulic blueprint literacy
• Must have mechanical understanding of pumps, valve, cylinders and power transmission
• Ability to identify when outside sources are required and when to seek help from the Maintenance Manager
• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on production needs and plant activities
• 4 to 5 yrs. experience
• Working experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) a plus
• Must be reliable
• Good communication skills
• Good Quality of work and safety awareness

EDUCATION LEVEL: Associate degree or related tech school certificate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Able to lift, bend, push/pull, carrying over 10 lbs. or more. Standing (over 75% of day)

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

• Steel toe safety footwear mandatory
• Standard safety glasses w/side shields – company provides. Prescription safety glasses must be approved by OSHA standard and have side shields
• Hearing protection mandatory and company provides
