A local manufacturing company is seeking to add a Machine Operator onto their team. Ideal candidate will work directly on the production floor to complete tasks related to machine operation, batch production and safety.
*This is a 10-hour shift - Monday to Thursday*
Responsibilities for this Machine Operator role:
- Responsible for product quality while maintaining company standards and processes.
- Operate machines while maintaining a positive, clean and safe working environment.
- Make boxes and perform bag palletizing.
- Follow GMP’s, Safety and Environmental regulations as well as company policies.
- Complete production reports to identify problems and maximize productivity.
- Attend regular shift and safety meetings to stay informed of organizational and policy changes.
- Display good team work and willing to assist wherever needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Desired qualifiecations:
- Minimum of 3+ year manufacturing experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to operate production machinery
- Ability to stand, walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Able to bend, crouch and lift light objects over head.
