Basic Job Information: Full-time
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience: 2-4 years’ experience
Job Summary: This position is within a manufacturing environment with moderate to high physical activity. The employee will be required to perform functions that involve routine lifting and pulling up to 50 pounds. The ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds to lift and position material into holders of machine is required on a regular and recurring basis. This position also requires constant standing and frequent walking. Candidate must possess the ability to read and understand information/ideas presented in written form. Pay commensurate with experience and ability.
Job Functions (Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements):
The primary duties consist of (but are not limited to) the following:
- Set up controls and adjust settings for industrial/manufacturing machines
- Observe machine operation for machine malfunction and defects.
- Perform safety checks to ensure safety devices are on and in working order (guarding and all safety equipment).
- Perform quality checks and document (where applicable), using simple gages, precision measuring devices and visual inspection.
- Perform daily maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow safety rules and work procedures.
Pre-employment testing (including background, drug screening and agility testing) will be required post offer.
