Mail Office Delivery Job at The Zidian Group
Position Summary
Responsible for coordination of corporate mail; deliver employee orders to designated areas as needed; do necessary shopping for warehouse and office supplies when needed; chauffer customers and employees as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- CORPORATE MAIL COORDINATOR:
- Sorts and distributes mail to proper department/divisions within company
- Handles the distribution of intercompany mail twice daily or more as needed
- DELIVER EMPLOYEE ORDERS TO DESIGNATED AREAS, TRANSFER PRODUCT/SUPPLIES
- Load Employee orders in the company van for delivery
- Make sure to get all the proper invoices for the Employee orders
- Deliver orders to designated areas in warehouse / Give invoices to proper person
- Transfer product and/or supplies between buildings as needed
- SHOP FOR WAREHOUSE AND OFFICE SUPPLIES AS NEEDED USING COMPANY VEHICLE
- CHAUFFER CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES WHEN NEEDED:
- Use company van
- WORK IN A SAFE MANNER 100% OF THE TIME AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY RULES & REGULATIONS
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EDUCATION AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Good communication skills
- Good Common Sense
- Good Reading and basic math skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Must be in good physical shape with high stamina and dexterity
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. plus (+)
- Manual dexterity with ability to reach with hands and arms
- Excellent eye sight with very good peripheral vision
- Regularly required to talk, hear, and see
- Frequently required to stand, walk and bend
- Able to work long hours when necessary
- Able to physically withstand extreme temperatures of cold or hot
