Job Summary: This position is responsible for driving the company four core values of safety, integrity, respect and drive by building and maintaining productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction and engagement. You’ll also have the opportunity to initiate collaboration with other departments, ensuring our products meet or exceed customer expectations. This is a strategic role that directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of office and plant by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Responsibilities of the Role:

· Ensures the safety of all maintenance employees; lead a comprehensive safety program to prevent injuries including regular safety meetings, incident investigation, problem solving for safety related maintenance items, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.)

· Hire, train, direct, develop, and counsel maintenance employees to meet and drive business objectives. These objectives include, but are not limited to:

o Ensuring a safe and reliable operation of the facility using the most appropriate Reliability Centered Maintenance strategies, effectively measured by OEE and System Availability.

o Tracking and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Equipment Availability & Downtime data, reviewing Preventative (PvM) and Predictive (PdM) Maintenance compliance & optimization, and PSM & Mechanical Integrity Compliance.

o Maintaining financial Performance by exercising good judgement on expenditures, to be measured by budget compliance

o Executing efficient and quality service by utilizing best practices in planning and scheduling and precision work execution, measured by a number of Key Result Areas

o Tracing and reducing production losses and high maintenance cost assets

o Developing of plans to eliminate or reduce losses through Reliability analysis tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Core Problem Solving (CPS), Statistical Analysis, Weibull Analysis, etc.

o Managing asset risk to the achievement of strategic objectives in the areas of environmental, health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production.

o Supporting and utilize tools and programs to identify and reduce risks which include: RCA, FMEA, RCM, PHA Reviews, MOC, PSM Plans, CPS, Statistical Analysis, Pareto Analysis, etc.

o Development of a standardized repository for equipment data.

o Managing equipment reliability throughout the entire life cycle of the asset from design and installation through commissioning and operations to the end of its useful life.

o Participating in the development of design and installation specifications along with acceptance testing, inspection criteria, and operability plans. Ensure the reliability and maintainability of newly installed assets to include proper critical spares inventory management.

o Determining the cause(s) of equipment failures, develop solutions for improving equipment performance, and implement recommended changes.

o Develops preventive maintenance program in conjunction with operations and maintenance staff.

o Analyzing data and records from SAP to identify bad actors and develop plans for major upgrades of facility equipment to ensure the most current technology is cost effective and utilized.

o Engage Operations to support efforts for autonomous maintenance and provide technical support and training to plant personnel for increasing asset reliability.

o Provide recommendations for End of Life (EOL) assets for future CAPEX spending.

· Must have regular attendance.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

· Education

o Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

· Experience

o 5-10 years of people leadership experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment

· Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

o A desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment

o Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn and apply new skills

o Attentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitments

o Flexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately

o Strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information in a clear and concise manner

o Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen

o Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available

· Language Skills

o Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

o Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

o Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and employees

· Mathematical Skills

o Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

· Reasoning Ability

o Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

o Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

· Physical Requirements

o While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to talk or hear

o The employee is must be able to frequently walk and sit and occasionally stand

o The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
