Position Available:

Full Time 1st Shift Maintenance Courier working in the Kenowa Hills Public School District.

6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday (occasionally 5:00am to 1:30pm based upon snow removal needs)

Hourly wage is $17.50 ($18.50 after 90 days)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Delivery of mail to each school building and pick up mail from each location
• Delivery of copy paper as needed
• Delivery of Food Service items on the designed schedule
• Is able to determine what is needed to complete assigned tasks and skillfully and efficiently uses time and resources to execute those tasks.
• Is available for any work assignment as deemed necessary to resolve maintenance and/or operational problems within the District
• Assist in ground maintenance
• Assist in snow removal this will require a schedule change
• Participates on emergency work crews whenever needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Physical ability to perform assigned job duties lift 75 pounds
• Must possess a valid Michigan Drivers Licenses and safe driving record
• Ability to pass fingerprinting background check
• Ability to work independently and adhere to a delivery schedule
• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
• Possesses a working knowledge of building maintenance and facility needs
• Ability to work with a diverse workforce.
