Job Description
Maintenance Helper

Perform general maintenance under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor that includes daily, weekly, monthly annual and special projects as determined by the current operating conditions.
Duties:
- Perform janitorial functions as required
- Maintain good housekeeping practices
- Oil and grease machines
- Clean and fill air/bender lubricators, monitor and adjust as needed to ensure proper functioning
- Repair and maintain all manual and automatic oilers
- Perform routine functions on equipment as directed; fabricate and repair equipment
- Assist in departmental organization to include assisting with purchasing by maintaining inventory and re-order points
- Assist with quality corrective action program
- Perform other various functions as determined by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Prior experience preferred
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welder and braze required
- Must be able to lift and handle up to 50 lbs
- Experience with forklifts required - Must demonstrate and obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire
- Must have a good safety record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.87 per hour
