BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This position directs all maintenance activities for the entire plant operation. This includes maintenance business management, maintenance material inventory, departmental budgets, computerized maintenance and management systems, and preventative and corrective maintenance programs. Candidates must have strong skills in the electrical field and be familiar with regulatory agencies such as USDA, FDA, OSHA and EPA. Must also possess strong skills as a leader, able to motivate, empower, train, direct, and lead a team of 25+ technicians.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years in operations, maintenances, quality, and management required. Strong computer skills required. Knowledge in the following areas is highly preferred: packaging/mechanical operation, electronics and controls, utility systems including boiler and ammonia refrigeration. Must have the ability to manage a continuous 24/7 operation. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager. Valid state driver’s license required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
