Perform routine repairs and PM’s on equipment after appropriate training provided by the level A or Lead man. Each mechanic is expected to perform quality work in a safe fashion and understand all safety rules for the task being performed. In carrying out their duties, each person is responsible to work productively and learn skills available through training and job shadowing. Training will be offered and is necessary to move from entry position to upper levels as well as a demonstrated ability to perform the work at that level.

Enter their work into the computer maintenance system throughout their work shift and able to use the system to look into repeat repairs and previous work performed on that equipment. Acquires preventative or predictive maintenance with instructions from the lead man or level A mechanic. Able to safely shut down systems they have been trained on. Able to perform simple tasks without instruction or guidance. Make sure all equipment meets standards, codes and regulatory requirements. Must be in position for minimum of two years before ability for advancement to level A. This may be waved after testing of skills and completion of school courses. The expectation is all level B mechanics can become level A mechanics through education and /or demonstrated ability. The move to A level is based on site needs at the time. Able to perform repairs by themselves after instruction form Level A, Lead or schooling

Pay: $22.50 - $28.00 per hour
