This position could be located in close proximity to any of our current OK, KS or TX sites. As well there is a possibility this could be a remote position with travel needed. This position is responsible for Maintenance Planning using SAP PM, the Enterprise system utilized by Enel Global Power Generation North America (EGPG) in the management of all assets assigned. The job focus will be the creation, maintenance and updating of the necessary planning, scheduling and documentation required to maximize generation and availability. This person will serve as primary interface for all planning and schedules with Regional Staff, Technical Support, and Purchasing & Logistics.
What You'll Do at Enel::
- Work in SAP PM for the creation and modification of Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, Work Schedules, Notifications and Maintenance Orders along with other transactions in support of all activities for the plants assigned, in accordance with EGPG Maintenance Processes.
- Be a primary support for the budgeting process, both Capex & Opex, by use of SAP and other support programs, through plans built in SAP, which contain all necessary labor, materials, inventory, 3rd party support, and duration estimates.
- In association with the Purchasing Specialist, ensure all 3rd party service information is entered in Maintenance Order or Task Lists for PR to contain correct and complete information
- Develop purchasing requests associated with budgeted and unbudgeted work.
- Collaborate with field, Purchasing, Logistics, and Technical Support to assemble all necessary documentation for all purchases for maintenance in Wind, for assets assigned.
- Assist Technical Support on the elaboration of the necessary internal procedures or work instructions.
- Coordination and organization of Job Packages for maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with HSEQ in the identification and plan for related maintenance.
- Responsible to lead the planning for all facilities assigned and is the primary owner of the regional planning, including working to develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules in SAP and Microsoft Project.
- Primary creator of all Maintenance Orders for both budgeted and unbudgeted work, whether Opex, Capex, or Repair work for the assets assigned.
- Primary Liaison with the Regional Staff and Technical Support in the development of work plan and scheduling, for both budgeted and unbudgeted work.
- Work with Site Manager to ensure plans are updated in real time with all necessary resources (manpower, inventory, funding, vendors and suppliers) available.
- Support and/or lead any special projects or initiatives assigned by Central or Local Management Team.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with knowledge of site equipment and maintenance activities
- Experience and training with maintenance of Wind Turbines, especially those of Acciona, GE, and/or Vestas turbines
- Strong computer skills with experience on the MS suite including Word, Excel and MS Project. Strong with SAP and SAP PM a plus
- Project contract management awareness and understanding
