Maintenance Technician Job at Ness Management, LLC
Maintenance Technician needed to work between our neighboring Bellingham properties!
We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our team and assist us in maintaining our Bellingham Properties! These complexes are within 2 blocks of each other, and have a total of 98 units.
Maintenance Team Members are responsible for:
Maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the property (grounds, internal, exterior)- Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance/repairs in a timely and professional manner
- Timely work request service, quality turnover / make-ready schedule
- Assuring all service requests are completed on a daily basis to company standards and the resident's satisfaction
- Available/on call for after-hours emergencies as needed
- Effectively coordinating and communicating with the on-site property manager, as well as the maintenance supervisor
- Establishing relationships with local vendors
- Per service requests, turnovers, or property needs assignments include but are not limited to painting, electrical wiring, construction, janitorial duties, and landscaping
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements for this position include:
Minimum of 1 year experience in property maintenance or equivalent- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Authorized to work in the US
- Resume required with references
- Must pass pre-employment criminal background check
- Must be able to provide a driving abstract with insurable record

Physical aspects of the job are:
Heavy lifting and carrying (50lbs+)- Bending / kneeling / stooping
- Climbing and balancing
- Inside and outside work environment - including all weather conditions as needed
Schedule
Full time 40 hours per week- On-call availability required - including nights and weekends
