Maintenance Technician needed to work between our neighboring Bellingham properties!

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our team and assist us in maintaining our Bellingham Properties! These complexes are within 2 blocks of each other, and have a total of 98 units.

Maintenance Team Members are responsible for:


  • Maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the property (grounds, internal, exterior)
  • Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance/repairs in a timely and professional manner
  • Timely work request service, quality turnover / make-ready schedule
  • Assuring all service requests are completed on a daily basis to company standards and the resident's satisfaction
  • Available/on call for after-hours emergencies as needed
  • Effectively coordinating and communicating with the on-site property manager, as well as the maintenance supervisor
  • Establishing relationships with local vendors
  • Per service requests, turnovers, or property needs assignments include but are not limited to painting, electrical wiring, construction, janitorial duties, and landscaping
  • Additional duties as assigned


Requirements for this position include:


  • Minimum of 1 year experience in property maintenance or equivalent
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Resume required with references
  • Must pass pre-employment criminal background check
  • Must be able to provide a driving abstract with insurable record

Physical aspects of the job are:


  • Heavy lifting and carrying (50lbs+)

  • Inside and outside work environment - including all weather conditions as needed


Schedule


  • Full time 40 hours per week
  • On-call availability required - including nights and weekends
