Tuesday-Saturday; 9:00A-5:00P

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems,
• One year custodial and/or maintenance experience,
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Assist with total building and grounds maintenance.
• Ensure equipment should be operative and safely maintained.
• Keep building, both interior and exterior, clean, orderly and free of any defects or safety hazards.
• General residential home repair and upkeep experience including but not limited to, Patching and Painting drywall, snow removal, gutter cleaning etc.
• Basic electrical and plumbing experience
• Properly maintain general plumbing, gas and electric lines.
• Responsible for snow and ice control to assure safety.
• Remove snow and ice during inclement weather.
• Maintain operable conditions including but not limited to the following equipment: mechanical and refrigerator systems; fire alarm system, doors, locks and windows; sanitary garbage disposal; vehicles, etc.
• Assume all responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor in his/her absence.
• Provide on call coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the residence.

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift and move objects weighing over 100 pounds with assistance.
• Stand and walk, sit for extended periods, ability to stoop, kneel, climb or crouch to pick up or move objects.
• Walk for long distances and on sloped ground and uneven surfaces.
• Normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
