Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a property management company in Binghamton, NY is looking for a maintenance worker.
Maintenance Worker Job Summary
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Flexible Schedule; 8 hours a day / 3 Days a week / Monday - Friday
What you will do in your role:
The maintenance worker is responsible for the maintenance and care of all agency buildings and grounds. The maintenance worker performs every day maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance duties that maintain a safe environment for tenants and business partners.
- Complete any reports and documentation in a timely manner
- Provide well-considered recommendations regarding facility improvements
- Take initiative in observing and reporting maintenance problems or areas requiring attention, repair, replacement, servicing, etc.
- Maintain responsive professional communication within the tenants and and vendors
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required
- One-year relevant experience working in facilities maintenance or similar preferred
- Must have valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurance throughout employment
