Description:

The Managed Care Contracting Team (“MCC”) is responsible for the development and management of contractual arrangements with Managed Care Customers. Consultant has robust managed care contracting experience with complex contract drafting, negotiation and project management skills. The objective of this engagement is for the consultant to assist MCC, on an on-call basis, with various initiatives relating to contract development, negotiations and projects such as strategy reviews and trainings.

Consultant’s services shall include, without limitation, the following:

Contracting Assistance: Assist with preparation of contracts and contract offers consistent with company strategy, comparing agreements to identify changes between versions and reviewing agreements to assess their alignment with company’s strategy.

Negotiations: Provide negotiation support through the redline process and/or lead negotiations that will include customer facing calls, working collaboratively with an account team, and finalizing a contract prior to the sign-by date.

Contract Boilerplates:Review current boilerplates and provide recommendations to streamline and modernize agreements consistent with approved strategies, legal requirements, and compliance language.

Compliance Assessments:Perform an assessment of processes and procedures in order to assess compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Training: Assist with development of training materials and delivery for all of MCC Contract Managers.

Special Projects: Provide managed care contracting expertise to inform contract strategy and overall contract structure.

Important: Company has mandated COVID-19 vaccination for their workforce, effective October 1st, 2021. All external personnel providing services to the company are required to comply with this requirement.

Pay: $95.00 - $100.00 per hour
