Management Information Systems (MIS) Registrar Job at The Bridge Inc.
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Management Information Systems (MIS) Registrar will assist in the maintenance and support of all company systems. Responsibilities include ensuring authorized end users have access to required systems, as well as help desk and administrative support duties, and other duties as required. Familiarity with problem diagnosis and troubleshooting software, desktop computers, portable computers, smartphones and other computer equipment is a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide operational support for Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and other agency data systems, including security groups, account management and data retention procedures.
- Client focus with an ability to maintain relationships and resolve client conflicts
- Assist in Install/Move/Add/Change requests for users in the office or remote.
- Provide technical assistance and training to system users.
- Answer, document and escalate telephone and mail inquiries concerning systems operation, diagnosis of system hardware, software, and operator problems, with guidance from System Administrators and Computer Specialists.
- Creation and maintenance of documentation for process, procedure, network infrastructure, project planning, and user education.
- Performs basic administrative and data entry functions.
- Gathers, assembles and files documents as needed.
- Communicate with personnel via email and phone calls.
- Perform other related duties assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Fluent use of the English language in both written and verbal communication.
- Detail oriented; follow established policies and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft desktop technologies, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail with very strong math skills including accuracy, spreadsheet expertise, data analytics and data visualization.
- Ability to record, track, correspond, and document resolution of user problems by means of problem reporting database software.
- Excellent personal and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to speak in a public environment with technical staff as well as senior executive staff.
- Demonstrates multicultural sensitivity with the ability to effectively and collaboratively work with diverse populations
- Ability to perform all duties in accordance with all agency policies
- Ability to meet and maintain punctuality and attendance expectations
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate may be called upon at times to assist with end user computer installations/replacement as well as other MIS Department server and/or software installations and support.
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or greater preferred.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of Information Technology administrative support experience, preferably working in a Healthcare environment including mathematical/accounting responsibilities.
Licensure Requirements:
Valid NYS Drivers License OR
Valid Drivers License from another State PLUS a NYS non-Drivers Photo ID.
