MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The preferred candidate will have a strong understanding of the Convenience, Traditional Foodservice and Vending channels and assigned corporate account customers. Must have background experience working directly with national distributors at various levels. The right candidate will be a team player and possess excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills necessary to collaborate internally and build external relationships.
  • The candidate must also be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, etc.). The position may be based in the Dinuba or Frisco co-headquarters or may office remotely. However, the candidate must be willing to travel approximately 20-25% (or more, as necessary) to meet with assigned corporate accounts at their office or other locations in the field.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • FSBU sales lead for assigned corporate accounts with responsibility to cultivate relationships at various levels.
  • Partner with FSBU sales team to develop sales strategies that will build long term relationships, help drive top line growth and profit improvement with assigned corporate accounts.
  • Point-person for written and verbal communication with assigned corporate accounts.
  • Communicate pricing action and supporting documentation, as required.
  • Ongoing management of corporate programming for assigned customers in Blacksmith working closely with an assigned Business Administrator (BA).
  • Negotiates corporate account agreements on behalf of the Foodservice Business Unit; responsible for corporate accounts trade management.
  • Conducts ongoing business reviews with assigned corporate accounts (in person or via TEAMS) as business needs dictate.
  • Deduction management responsibilities for assigned corporate accounts at HQ level.
  • FSBU sales lead for ongoing projects related to assigned corporate accounts; examples include business process improvement opportunities, policy changes/implementation.
  • Involvement in day-to-day issue resolution (service/shortages/delays, etc.) when situations get elevated to the corporate level with assigned corporate accounts; requires ongoing interaction with Ruiz cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Represent Ruiz Foods at assigned corporate customer meetings and events involving supplier community.
  • Coordination with Ruiz Foods broker representatives responsible for assigned corporate accounts to help drive focused execution in the field.
  • New product set ups and product discontinuations with assigned corporate accounts.
  • Ongoing management of assigned corporate account portals (SYSCO, US Foods & DOT).
  • Involvement in FSBU special projects, as assigned by the VP Sales.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager, Corporate Accounts will serve as the primary Ruiz Foods sales contact with assigned FSBU corporate accounts at the HQ level - PFG Corporate (includes Core-Mark/Artic Cascade, Eby Brown, Vistar & Performance Food Service), McLane, SYSCO, US Foods, UniPro, Golbon & DOT.
