Integral to our team, the Manager, Due Diligence will serve as the day to day technical and program lead for due diligence vendors and due diligence pre-design scope of work. This role reports to the Director of Due Diligence and Permitting.

What you might do in your first year:

• Assumes a lead role in the programming and planning of due diligence predesign activities.
• Manages due diligence expeditor or 3rd party due diligence consultants.
• Engages and manages any other consultants during due diligence, predesign and permitting phases.
• Facilitates and oversees due diligence site investigation reports & deliverables.
• Reviews Due Diligence reports received for completeness and accuracy and provides input to Design and Construction related to potential site issues or existing conditions.
• Works closely with Architects and Engineers.
• Identifies and addresses potential liabilities and risks related to existing conditions.
• Manage geotechnical and environmental consultants and deliverables, if needed.
• Drives high-level planning, coordination and critical path milestone tracking for the due diligence phase.
• Identifies, tracks and manages risks for due diligence deliverables and functions. Conveys critical path milestones to Director of Due Diligence.
• Tracks and report on key milestones and business metrics. Provide regular and ad hoc status updates on schedule, scope, vendor, and program outcomes.
• Develop, refine, and continually update process workflows for the due diligence scope.
• Ensures that VP and Directors are fully and accurately informed of all Due Diligence related issues.
• Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

What you bring to VillageMD:

• 5-10 years of experience as Sr Manager or Manager or Program Manager on retail multi-site roll outs.
• Experience with site investigation reports or due diligence deliverables in a multi-site, multi-year pipeline.
• Experience with Smartsheets.
• Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve strategic account project goals.
• Strong working knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings and construction concepts.
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, stakeholders, etc.).
• Previous experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring and evaluating talent at various levels within the organization or team.
• Ability to lead individuals across a national platform to deliver superior results in client service.
• Face to face and/or remote daily interpersonal interaction is usually required in order to perform the job.
• Travel as needed, role is expected to be Remote Work, minimal construction site visits.

For Colorado Residents only: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
