What You'll Do:
- Administer and coordinate sales and marketing training programs and processes for associates.
- Customize training needs, conduct assessments, develop courses, and manage delivery and evaluation.
- Provide input into the module selection for training needs and assessment.
- Manage store feedback mechanisms for Strategic Account Managers.
- Provide training and coaching to Retail Sales Specialists (RSSs) on the use of professional and quality sales skills and service skills
- Consult at the training level to implement training solutions.
- Educate the entire retail floor sales staff on the advantages and benefits of Serta products, their relationship to Better Sleep, and how to sell these benefits to consumers.
- Educate the retail principles on the profit implications of selling Serta products.
- Mentor and coach RSSs to effectively and efficiently raise competency levels.
- Build relationships with district managers and leadership at dealer sites.
- Work with Marketing and RSS Development to customize training content.
- Manage RSSs to meet sales goals and to execute customer-specific training programs.
- Oversee call planning, monitoring, and tracking of RSS activities
How You'll Do It:
- Manage resources, including part-time and full-time associates.
- Recruit and retain the right people for the right positions.
- Use technology such as distance learning tools and e-learning tools.
- Translate the marketing message and ensure its consistency.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Skilled at speaking in front of groups of people from 1-50 in size.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and the Internet.
What You'll Bring:
- 3-5 years related experience.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

- Up to 75% travel. Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
