General Summary

The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success within their scope of responsibility. This position will be part of a team responsible for developing recruitment ideas and plans, identifying sourcing strategies, and advising managers. The Human Resources Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring the best possible talent is sourced and hired, for all levels of business.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ensure Company compliance with established hiring procedures, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action policies
  • Confer with management team to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skills
  • Modify and finalize job descriptions for each position
  • Manage Company’s requisition and job posting process; create, refresh and remove job postings from various sites
  • Lead the development and execution of recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
  • Source candidates for positions; utilize a variety of recruitment resources
  • Initiate contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings
  • Review resumes and forward to hiring managers
  • Perform reference checks on applicants
  • Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process and create processes to eliminate it.
  • Act as a business partner with managers and supervisors to communicate policies, procedures, programs and laws
  • Conduct regular follow-up meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plan and implementation
  • Lead the development and administration of programs, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the Company
  • Create and facilitate management training programs regarding recruiting and hiring
  • Liaise with a wide range of organizations involved in areas such as diversity, disability, gender, age, religion and health and safety
  • Maintain good records during all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
  • Improve company’s online presence to assist in recruiting.
  • Create job offers and follow through pre-employment requirements to determine start
  • Partner with the Human Resources Business Partner to create best-in-class candidate experiences and inclusive hiring practices
  • Create recruiting metrics to track market trends, hiring best practices, track pipeline updates, success rates of recruiting initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years recruiting experience in all levels required
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
  • Applicant Tracking Systems experience (ADP Recruitment Management a plus)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal, social and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, self-motivations and communication skills required
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and be flexible to changing assignment priority

Working Conditions

  • Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area.
