Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the management, development, and implementation of the LGP’s marketing communications, public relations and community outreach activities targeted at LGP’s numerous stakeholders as well as measuring their success. The Marketing Manager will oversee one direct report, the Marketing Coordinator.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with creative agency, manage design and production of collateral, signage, advertising, and other promotional materials
  • Manage terminal signage program, including wayfinding and digital and chairing the terminal signage committee
  • Manage the digital signage content management system
  • Manage the LGP intranet communications content
  • Manage the website
  • Manage social media accounts including development of content calendar
  • In partnership with Commercial Marketing Manager, develop and execute communications plans and materials to support commercial initiatives
  • Working with PR agency, manage PR related activities including development of press materials, following up on media inquiries, monitoring media hotline and escorting members of the media on site
  • Develop and support community and public affairs initiatives
  • Management of communications messages with LGP’s partners
  • Maintaining a consistent brand image throughout the website, signage, social media platforms and PR and marketing materials.
  • Manage day to day interactions with creative agency and media relations agency
  • Provide marketing support to all company strategic initiatives
  • Stay on top of communications and marketing trends and develop tools, processes, and best practices for LGP
  • Crisis communications management

Skills

  • Experience overseeing design and production of signage, advertising, collateral, and other promotional assets
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of social media tools and applications
  • Experience working with web development/management platforms such as Wix or

WordPress

  • Hands on experience managing content management systems
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with the public, media, colleagues and all levels of management
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy work environment
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience working with reporters and media outlets preferred
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat preferred

Education and Qualification

  • BA/BS; Marketing/Communications/Business preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or public relations

Primary Work Location: LaGuardia Airport, NY (Onsite)

Employee Status: Full Time, Nights/Weekends as Required

Salary: 90k – 110k
