Marketing Specialist (NJ/NY)
Prologis is seeking a proactive Marketing Specialist for our NJ/NY market. In this dynamic role, you will work directly with the Regional Leasing & Marketing Manager and the SVP, Market Officer to develop marketing programs and set strategies. Additionally, you will work with the corporate marketing and communications teams to communicate and effectively position initiatives and announcements internally and externally.
Your focus will be managing and executing the external and internal marketing and communications activities. This role has a hybrid schedule with in office expectations of four days per week.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
  • Develop short-term and long-term marketing plans for the NJ/NY market in collaboration with senior-level leaders.
  • Create, coordinate, and supervise the marketing materials (e.g., signage, brochures, emailers, invitations, and digital marketing).
  • Run digital marketing processes (i.e., content creation and development for Digital Property Marketing, execute social media campaigns, and other tools working with stakeholders from across the business).
  • Run and manage a range of diverse marketing activities such as product positioning and campaigns, broker, customer, and department events.
  • Oversee and manage all asset photography as well as overall marketing inventory.
  • Interact with architectural and design professionals for site, building, and space plans as well as oversee and coordinate workflow of site and stacking plan maintenance.
  • Work proactively with the Corporate Communications team and the Market to develop messaging, stories, and thought pieces to promote Prologis throughout the NJ/NY market.
  • Create Customer Experience marketing including events, promotional gifts, and targeted marketing plans.
  • Support internal communication initiatives from planning to implementation.
  • Overall administration of the department including budgets, invoices and business expenses.
  • Collaborate with and support marketing needs for leasing, property management, development, and capital deployment teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with important industry players (owners, brokers, politicians, contractors, vendors, industry experts, analysts, etc.), through actively participating in local ownership/brokerage organizations and community events, to promote the Prologis strategy and brand.
  • Provide additional ad-hoc project support as needed.

Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience and knowledge of a wide range of marketing activities.
  • Project coordination/management experience highly valued.
  • Strong organizational skills – time management & prioritization. Ability to work with a multi-person team, including work well under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with an ability to readily learn internal, corporate computer platforms.
  • Skilled with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
  • Valid driver’s license, position requires occasional travel to portfolio properties.
