Master Scheduler Job at Morgan Asphalt
Job purpose
Senior Scheduler will be responsible for managing time and resources to ensure work/project is completed on time. The scheduler works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to fill project needs including crews types, crew size, material needed, trucking needs, location of material pick-up, and equipment necessary for job completion. They will also work closely with the Shop Manager in scheduling the needs of equipment maintenance and repairs.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide expertise in project controls, scheduling, and schedule analysis
- Ensure that the project is carried out within the projected time-frame
- Create a high-level master schedule
- Keep and eye on program milestones and interdependencies
- Provide information on items impacting the project schedule
- Responsible for spotting the critical path, as well as proffering alternatives to regain slippage to the schedule
- Spot project risks and include impact analysis for review by project team
- Have a vested interest in the company’s success and strive to better everyone and everything
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
