At the Reutlingen site, Customer bespoke forming fabrics are manufactured with the highest standards of precision and quality in various production areas such as warping, weaving, heat-setting, seaming and finishing.

General Scope of Responsibilites

Perform any and all duties required to receive, store, pull, issue, transport, and ship purchased or manufactured products. Fully utilize the company’s SAP computer system to complete all associated transactions in an accurate and efficient manner.

Specific Responsibilites

• Receive work orders into inventory using SAP system; identify any open requirements and move materials to proper location within the Warehouse
• Pull material and components from the warehouse per a pick list.
• Operate fork trucks and overhead cranes as needed.
• Receive and visually inspect all of packages and contents for damage; audit of each package and packing list to ensure no discrepancies between purchase order quantity and description and actual receipt; receive incoming materials into inventory using SAP system; identify any open requirements and move materials to proper location within the Warehouse.
• Package and secure products for shipments include tagging, labeling, marking, checking product and supporting integrity of shipment transactions; building crates and wooden boxes in accordance with International and Domestic shipping requirements; follow procedures to properly ship via designated transport companies; maintain on-time shipments according to required dates.

Position Requirements:

• High School / GED education preferred, but equivalent work experience & knowledge acceptable.
• Proficient in computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, an ERP system (SAP preferred);
• Familiarity with Warehouse operational functions.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, engineering drawings, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write effective correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of mathematics and basic algebra.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Effort & Working Conditions

Working conditions can include production/fabrication facilities, paper mills, offices and vendor sites.

Position requires ability to work the manufacturing plant with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines and machining centers. Candidate required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, grasp, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, maneuver within tight spaces, climb on machinery, and routinely lift up to of 50 lbs. Must be able to exercise independent judgment, especially in determining the best method of distribution, pay attention to detail, possess excellent mobility, solid visual acuity, good hearing, coordination, balance, and manual dexterity. Position requires ability to endure long hours and work to the highest standards of safety, quality, 5S housekeeping at all times, as well as wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
