Position Function/Purpose

Makes general deliveries to all schools and departments. Assists other warehouse

Personnel and warehouse supervisor in performing assigned tasks.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist in the checking in (opening of cartons, counting contents and marking purchase order numbers/destination and sorting) of warehouse merchandise.
• Responsible for daily loading of MISD trucks, deliveries and pickup of merchandise at all schools and departments
• Assist in filing warehouse shipping orders
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Warehouse, Procurement Supervisor

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Certification/Education:

1. High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Must possess the ability to work effectively with people
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial drivers license
• Must be able to lift objects in excess of 100 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing 50 pounds or more
• Basic computer skills
