The Tugger will be picking material from the markets using a tugger vehicle. Following a route, they will deliver the material to each stop on the route as needed and return empty totes to their proper location. This job requires repeated lifting of totes and containers with parts as well as empty containers. Verbal communication is vital as the tugger is responsible for ensuring the lines know the status of the materials on their lines. A radio is used for these communications.

1. Must be able to pass and maintain required online and skills test. Drive a tugger unit demonstrating safety and efficiency. Perform the daily required safety checks and wear PPE.

2. Perform physical tasks to include but not be limited to loading and unloading tugger carts, stocking chutes and carts, handling of totes full and empty. Tote weights can be up to 50 lbs.

3. Demonstrate excellent communication skills. Using the radio and face to face, ensure the production teams, market and materials teams are informed of part status when availability is in doubt.

4. Quality responsibility ensures FIFO (First in first out is practiced) and inventory levels online are in accordance with 5S and stock targets. Labeling requirements are followed.

5. 5S - Tugger is to properly remove and dispose of waste generated by the lines such as plastic wrap, banding and boxes etc. Tuggers are to leave their units clean of personal debris and are required to sweep area they work in like the tote area.

6. Tuggers follow a standard work instruction which includes but is not limited to drive paths, stock levels and container management.

Position Specifications:

- Pass required OTIS training and meet physical requirements of job.

- Must be self directed and show good time management skills as well as good organizational skills.

- Maintain a low number of occurrences <5 and safety incidents
