Position Summary:
Accepted candidate will be a member of a highly motivated global team that develops document scanners and machine vision systems. They will take part in developing projects from inception to final commercialization, based on business defined product requirements. Responsibilities include detailed design and analysis with CAD, specification of components, conducting and participating in design reviews, creating test plans & reports, instrumentation, and testing. They will also develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s technology and assist with current product failure modes and root cause analysis.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Electromechanical Design & Automation.
  • FEA – Stress, Deflection, Vibration.
  • Design for manufacture and assembly.
  • Low cost manufacturing.
  • Design of experiments.
  • Failure and root cause analysis.
  • Multidisciplinary and worldwide team collaboration.
  • 1 – 4+ years of Experience with:
  • Precision machining.
  • Precision molding.
  • Sheet metal design.
  • GD&T.
  • Tolerance analysis.
  • Rapid prototyping.
Computer Skills:
  • Windows 10, MS Office
  • CAD: NX10.0; Solidworks 2017
  • MATLAB
  • LabVIEW 2017
