Our Saratoga Medical Associates is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join their team!

The hours are Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

**This position is eligible for up to a $1,000 recruitment and retention bonus!!**

The primary role of this position is to room patients, obtain vitals, accurately document in patient records, and maintain timely patient flow throughout the day.

Additional Responsibilities:
Document verbal conversations and information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.

Obtain patient signature on Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN) according to Medicare requirements.

Maintain timely patient flow.

Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.

Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.

Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.

Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).

Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.

Medical Assistant Certification, preferred

Previous medical/clinical experience.

Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, members, physicians/providers, managers, co-workers, and external customers.

Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.

Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
