Jones Eye Clinic is a busy and well established ophthalmology practice looking to hire a full time Medical Ophthalmic Assistant. Every day we make a difference in patients' lives through innovative surgical and medical eyecare.
We have a full time employment opportunity for a Medical Ophthalmic Assistant to work with our doctors in a clinical setting.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
- Verifiable employment references required
- Good computer skills - EHR experienced preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills required
- Keen interest for learning and attention to detail
- Able to work as a team member
Job description:
Regular responsibilities include hands on directed patient care, medical histories, scribing, and visual and diagnostic testing of patients. Development path includes the opportunity to become certified in our field.
We are willing to train the right person so medical assistants, optometric assistants, phlebotomists, or nursing assistants/aides are encouraged to apply. We offer a competitive salary and excellent full time benefits package.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
