Description:

This is a full time day position, Monday-Friday.

The candidate will perform a variety of technical, administrative and supportive activities in a clinic to assist medical staff in the examination and treatment of patients, within their legal scope of practice. These activities may include cleaning wounds, applying medications, applying dressings, and administering medications as prescribed by medical staff.

Under general supervision, this person will perform work of moderate difficulty in the provision of administrative, diagnostic and nursing services in the outpatient setting as delegated by healthcare providers. The use of experience, judgment and critical thinking skills are crucial. In addition, other related work, community activities and support is required in this position. You will also be in charge of ordering/stocking supplies, keeping/logging patients and procedure scheduling, and maintaining scheduling. Checking patients in and out, also collecting copays.

You must be able to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team, maintain high levels of professionalism, and positively promote the image of the clinic. This position also requires the ability to educate patients and families as to the nature of disease and to provide instruction on proper care and treatment.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year experience preferred
• Computer skills required
