**MUST BE A CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

• Follow up on laboratory values and procedures and inputting clinical information into our electronic medical record
• Perform clinical duties within HIPAA regulations
• Ensure that stock and clinical inventory are adequate and orders are placed on time
• Order vaccines and keep inventory up to date
• Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision
• Sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA requirements
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient visits.
• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Escort patients to exam rooms and triage

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a clinical coordinator role (essential)
• Venipuncture and immunization experience is a MUST
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD, and CPT coding (highly advantageous)
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask
• Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
• Passionate about clinical excellence.

Salary: commensurate with experience, interview, background check and references
