We are a fast paced multi-disciplinary Physical Medicine Office (medical, chiropractic, and PT) needs a Medical Assistant for our thriving and growing Team.

Medical assistant will provide support to the Nurse Practitioner in performing clinical and administrative duties related to all aspects of treating patients. This position requires a front office supporting role as well.

Responsibilities may include, however, not limited to:

• All aspects of a treating and documenting patient care and implementing plan of care.
• Scheduling patient appointments per providers orders for their plan of care.
• Handling patient referrals as ordered by providers or received from other providers.
• Supports patient care delivery by helping providers during examinations and treatments; preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests on the premises; disposing of contaminated supplies; sterilizing medical instruments; administering medications on the premises; authorizing drug refills as directed; and telephoning prescriptions to pharmacy.
• Provide patients with friendly and nurturing support and guidance.
• Maintenance of rooms and medical equipment.
• Inventory reconciliation and ordering.
• Supports the company’s mission, vision, and values.
• Assisting all providers and Team members with a Team mentality.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
