Now hiring for Medical Assistant positions in multiple specialty areas.

Full-time and per diem shifts are available.

Clinic locations include Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe, Kingwood, Summer Creek, North Channel and The Vintage.

The Medical Assistant I and the Certified Medical Assistant I will provide supportive patient care functions for an assigned clinical area, under the supervision of a Physician, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards. Some duties may be delegated to the MA by the physician or RN.
Medical Assistant II and Certified Medical Assistant II- Both positions require additional duties which include administration of injectables and or other high-level skill performance.

All applicants considered who possess 1 year of MA experience or completed a MA Externship with Kelsey Seybold Clinic or possess no experience but are currently Certified as a Medical Assistant.

The position will be upgraded/downgraded based on the candidate's experience and certification.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited program and

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or school.

• Registered as a Medical Assistant

• Those hired into this position must complete the review/skill validation program within 90 days of hire.

• Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient populations. Computer experience and basic Medical/Nursing terminology

• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association

• Ambulatory experience preferred
