Medical Biller/Insurance Specialist Job at Advanced Eye MDs, PC
FT Medical Biller/Insurance Specialist . Expanding independent Ophthalmology Practice, located in Branchburg, NJ, is seeking an experienced Medical Biller/Insurance Specialist to join the team! Our optical features a large frame selection, as well as a state-of-the-art lab.

Responsibilities include:
- verifying medical & vision insurance eligibility
- posting charges & EOBs
- posting patient payments
- collect co-pays, coinsurance, and deductibles
- sending patient bills
- working AR including denials
- schedule appointments
- enter patient demographics
Knowledge of Medical/Vision insurance and coding (CPT-4, ICD-10, modifiers) is required. Should be proficient working with commercial insurance, as well as Medicare, VSP and EyeMed. Experience with Navinet, Availity, and Trizetto is helpful.
Candidate should possess strong customer service skills, be professional and organized. Ability to multitask required. Must know MS Office and be able to use an EMR. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, 401K, 401K match, PTO, paid holidays.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
