Our Medical Graft Technicians create various grafts, such as:
- Skin, traditional, cellular, and dental, from donated tissue recovered from a human donor after death.
- Allograft tissue is the tissue that is transplanted from one person to another. i.e., bone, ligaments, tendons, skin.
- Allograft bone is commonly used in orthopedic, spinal, and oral surgeries.
- Allograft skin can be used to treat burn victims

- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to work within a team setting and possess the ability to receive and follow directions.
- Must be able to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
- Requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), moderate to continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
- Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
- Requires good eye-hand coordination skills. Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Associates degree in related field preferred but not required.
- Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a tissue bank, sterile medical environment, or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, processing anatomy and sterile techniques is preferred but not required.
- Mortuary/Funeral/Embalming experience
- Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic
- Surgical Technologist
