Our Medical Graft Technicians create various grafts, such as:
  • Skin, traditional, cellular, and dental, from donated tissue recovered from a human donor after death.
  • Allograft tissue is the tissue that is transplanted from one person to another. i.e., bone, ligaments, tendons, skin.
  • Allograft bone is commonly used in orthopedic, spinal, and oral surgeries.
  • Allograft skin can be used to treat burn victims

Required
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Must be able to work within a team setting and possess the ability to receive and follow directions.
  • Must be able to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
  • Requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), moderate to continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
  • Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
  • Requires good eye-hand coordination skills. Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
Desired Qualifications

  • Associates degree in related field preferred but not required.
  • Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a tissue bank, sterile medical environment, or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, processing anatomy and sterile techniques is preferred but not required.
Those with the following experience are encouraged to apply:
  • Mortuary/Funeral/Embalming experience
  • Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic
  • Surgical Technologist
