Valley Sports Physicians & Orthopedic Medicine Inc, a privately owned medical practice, is looking for a part-time Office Manager. Hours are flexible and can include some remote work.
Valley Sports Physicians is a pioneer in the fields of regenerative medicine, including stem cell treatments, and non-surgical orthopedics, including sports medicine and the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We have an outstanding reputation both in the local community and at-large. The practice currently consists of one full-time physician and one full-time Physician Assistant. Clinical support staff currently includes 2 full-time and 3 part-time Athletic Trainers, a front desk Patient Care Coordinator, and a medical biller. We have an outstanding team and a fun bunch!
The Office Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Overseeing Front Desk operations (including filling in for the Front Desk during vacations)
* Overseeing yearly staff credentialing and re-credentialing with insurance companies
* Managing clinical staff, including scheduling
* Coordinating with vendors for needed services and repairs
* Assisting the medical biller as needed
Candidates need to possess a unique combination of superlative interpersonal skills, (to work effectively with patients, staff, vendors, and insurers), technical skills (i.e., computer), and organizational skills. Certification by the MGMA is preferred. Experience with medical billing & coding is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
