Medical receptionist needed for an outpatient Physical Therapy office in Los Alamos. A perfect candidate will have an ability to communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies and the team, adhere to policies and procedures, be a good problem solver, and an engaged team player.
Tasks include - answering phones and scheduling patients for physical therapy, entering new patient info into EMR system, greeting incoming patients, collecting patient payments, organizing initial visit paperwork, obtaining treatment referrals, insurance verifications and treatment authorizations, light office organization.
Candidate qualifications - high school diploma; excellent customer service, communication and phone etiquette skills; ability to work well in busy environment, reliable, self-motivated; detail oriented; proficient in PC, Internet, Excel and fax.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.50 per hour
