Duties and Responsibilities:
Join the Chart Capture Operations Team within Health Care Financial Services of TeamHealth. Day to day responsibilities include:
- Daily reconciliation of patient charts within set timeframes and productivity standards
- Contact clinicians to obtain additional clinical information on incomplete and outstanding charts
- Identify and report OnBase chart flow issues
- Collect, analyze, and report out on departmental data
- Maintain adherence to confidentiality standards established in accordance with legal, ethical and hospital standards (ex: HIPAA compliance)
- Note: position may require prolonged period of sitting/working on a PC, light lifting and occasional night or weekend hours

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Intermediate knowledge of account reconciliation to a ledger (log) and associated processes
- Understanding of revenue cycle/chart flow and associated processes
- Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under tight, competing deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of office experience
- Medical billing experience
- Coding or Coding Documentation review experience
- Experience with OnBase/other workflow software and Emergency Medical Records
