Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate with at least 3 years of previous experience in a clinical setting. Pharmacy Tech experience is a plus and prior knowledge of medication names, dosages, and uses is necessary. Must be fully vaccinated, willing to get vaccinated, or request a religious or medical exemption. The exemption must be approved before hire. (You are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after receiving a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or 2 weeks after receiving a single-dose of Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine).
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist providers with completing medication refills including answering patient questions, and answering phone calls from patients and pharmacies
- Complete proper paperwork for refills
- Learn the computer system and develop and maintain an electronic system for completion of refills
- Handle prior authorizations for refills
- Handle the patient assistance program for refills
- Maintain a well-organized process and be self-driven
Salary scales are a range of pay and offers are made to applicants based upon requirements of the particular position. Applicants with “previous like skills” may not be given the same weight and consideration as “previous specific same skills”: i.e., For a Medical Receptionist position, “Previous clerical skills” may not be preferred over “Previous Medical Clerical Skills”.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
