Overview
Provides patient access services for oncology service centers. Providers excellent customer service in the performance of clerical duties that support front desk processes. Functioning as a team member, the staff is flexible in the work assignments, rotates to support all aligned processes when needed and assists with training. Utilizes established policies and protocols to perform a variety of procedures and at a level not requiring constant supervision of detail. Responsible for necessary quality control performance and documentation that supports accreditation initiatives. Complies with National Patient Safety Goals, HIPAA guidelines, and Corporate Compliance polices. Participates in quality and customer service programs and meets all CBL,CME requirements. Staff is competent in scheduling and insurance verification.

What you will do
- Responsible for Patient Access Processes such as registration, lobby, and wait times.
Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties supporting front desk operations.
Rotates to support all aligned processes when needed and assists with training.
Handles patient scheduling and insurance verification. Ensures medical records are complete for provider visit.
Complies with National Patient Safety Goals, HIPAA guidelines, and Corporate Compliance policies. Utilizes Care Difference principles with all interactions.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)
Associates Degree, Related Field (Preferred)
Experience
- Medical Office experience (Preferred)
Patient Registration experience (Preferred)
