Responsible for management, planning, organizing and directing all functions of the Medical Staff Office to contribute to meeting the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of Doctors Hospital of Manteca as well as meeting the requirements of the Medical Staff Bylaws, JCAHO standards and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. Is responsible for the medical-administrative and Medico-legal aspects for the Medical Staff organization. Coordinates Medical Staff activities and acts as a liaison between the Medical Staff and Administration. Prepares and maintains accurate documentation of Medical Staff and credentialing activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: A.S. OR EQUIVALENT
Major: Business
TRAINING: Previous Medical Staff Office experience is required.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: CPMSM (Certified Professional in Medical Services Management) preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 5+ YEARS
