Mental Health Resources Specialist

Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services, Inc. (CRCSI) is looking for a full time Mental Health Resource Specialist to work in the Fayette County Area for the 2022-2023 school year. The Mental Health Resource Specialist is a unique position with CRCSI, and the assigned school district designed to assist students in developing a comprehensive relationship between the student, family, school, community, and services to ensure the best outcomes for each student.

The Mental Health Resource Specialist will provide services to the District which may include: Clinical Support, Coordination of Services , Provide Mental Health assessments, therapy sessions and related support as directed by school personnel, crisis assistance, enhance awareness of mental health needs services and identification and understanding of mental health factors to assist the district’s response to mental health problems, and evaluate district and CRCSI resources to provide “in-school” services to students to preclude out of school placement.
Candidates must have a master’s degree in Social Work and be Licensed in Social Work from the state of Pennsylvania. Preferred candidates will have one year of experience in school settings or working with adolescent children.

This position will work for approximately 10 months during the school year and will have most of the summers off except for training dates. CRCSI elects to pay employees on an annual basis of 26 pay checks or bi-weekly so you will still receive your salary over the summer months.
