Mental Health Therapist Job Duties:

• Assess and respond to crisis situations at the agency and in the community
• Provide intervention for individuals who experience a mental health emergency and determine appropriate level of care
• Complete agency intakes as needed
• Individual counseling
• Group therapy
• Consultation/collaboration with residential staff and other treatment providers
• Monthly team meetings and client updates
• Interact with clients

Mental Health Therapist Educational Requirements:

• Masters level counselor, social work, or marriage & family therapist
• LPC, LSW, MFT, LPCC, LISW, LPCC-S, LISW-S

Mental Health Therapist Required Experience:

• Experience working with clients who are at risk (preferred)
