The Ideal Candidate will reside within 2 hours of Oxford, CT and will cover Hartford, New Haven and Fairfield, CT

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Initiates, promotes, and completes retail display programs to dealers by integrating STIHL corporate standards and goals with Dealer needs and constraints.
• Works with Territory Managers and Marketing Manager to target market retail display programs, and assist in the development of promotional marketing material.
• Analyzes Dealer location and facility space, designs appropriate shelving and display arrangement for STIHL product, and orders items to create display. Installs or arranges for installation of displays at Dealer location.
• All designs are built within STIHL guidelines and in coordination with current STIHL promotions.
• Develops network of suppliers for shelving and display materials.
• Bids items to be purchased as necessary.
• Maintains ongoing record of suppliers used and quality of product and service.
• Utilizes supplier based on available information within guidelines supplied by STIHL Marketing Department.
• Assists with the collection of past due accounts for services rendered.
• Attends trade shows, dealer open houses, and other dealer-specific events to promote the product and relationship between STIHL and dealers as directed or needed.
• Manages inventory of display materials.
• Hires, trains and schedules installation staff.
• Manages logistics of materials and installation staff.
• Works with dealers and their representatives for installation, scheduling and follow-up.
• Maintains merchandising database for accurate information and reports for Branch and STIHL Inc.
• All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Specifications

Bachelor's degree OR High School Diploma with 4+ years of equivalent experience
